Age-related macular degeneration is a deterioration of the macula, which is the core region of the retina of the eye. It causes vision loss in the field of vision's centre. Macular degeneration can be caused by a variety of conditions, including smoking, obesity, hereditary factors, and cardiovascular disease. A hazy patch in the field of vision, a desire for higher illumination, difficulty adapting to low light, and trouble recognising faces are some of the symptoms. This condition is commonly treated with surgery to assist enhance vision and photocoagulation to remove aberrant blood vessels in the retina.
The normal lens of the eye is removed and replaced with an artificial lens during cataract surgery. This surgery is used to cure cataracts, a disorder that causes the lens of the eye to fog, resulting in poor or hazy vision. It is a routine and safe surgery for restoring and improving eyesight that has been impaired by cataracts.
Dry eye is a condition in which the eyes don’t make enough tears for its lubrication, moisturization and nourishment. It occurs due to decreased tear production, increased tear evaporation, or imbalance in tear composition caused by allergies, aging, not blinking enough, long-term contact lens wear, laser eye surgery, wind, smoke or dry air. Its symptoms include burning sensation, pain, and redness in the eyes. It may also cause sensitivity to light, blurred vision or eye fatigue. Medication to increase the amount of tears in the eyes and tear duct plug to block the drainage holes in the corners of the eyes are the common treatments. In severe cases a surgery may be required.
Eye movement disorders occur when there is a problem with the muscles that hold the eye in place and control its movement. The two common eye movement disorders are Strabismus and Nystagmus. In Strabismus, the eyes do not get aligned properly and point in different directions. In Nystagmus, the eyes make repetitive and uncontrolled movements resulting in low vision.

Tear duct surgery is a procedure to open a blocked tear duct. It can get blocked due to various reasons like anatomical problems, chronic nasal infections, obstruction from a tumour, trauma to the nose, conjunctivitis, or nose polyps. This may cause in a lot of tearing or discharge from the eye.

It is used to correct a medical problem or for cosmetic reasons. An orbital Trauma and Fracture occurs when one or more of the tissues and bones around the eyeball (eye socket) are damaged due to a hard blow to the face. This kind of injury causes pain in and around the orbit, bleeding from lacerations, facial numbness, bruising, swelling, and changes in vision. The treatment depends on the location and severity of the damage and fracture.

It's used to treat squint, which is when your eyes don't look in the same direction at the same time. The loosening, tightening, or repositioning of one or more of the eye muscles on one or both eyes is a common eye procedure. It corrects eye alignment, reduces diplopia (double vision), reduces eye tiredness, and promotes aesthetic growth.
