Dr. Shishir Shetty is a highly accomplished Senior Consultant with over 25 years of experience in surgical oncology. He has performed more than 25,000 cancer surgeries, including some of the most complex and high-risk procedures in oncology.
He is the first qualified surgical oncologist from Tata Memorial Hospital, and holds MBBS, M.S., and M.Ch. degrees. He has also completed a Fellowship in Robotic Surgery from Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, USA.
Dr. Shetty is widely known for his patient-centric approach, leadership in oncology, and dedication to advancing minimally invasive and robotic cancer surgeries. A TEDx speaker and Guinness World Record holder, he has contributed numerous international publications to the field and has served in key academic roles, including Vice President, Mumbai Surgical Society (2023) & President-Elect, Mumbai Surgical Society (2024)
He is the recipient of multiple accolades including the Abdul Kalam Excellence Award, and has been recognized for his charitable contributions in oncology care.
