Biography

Dr. Saurabh Sudhakar Joshi is an esteemed Neuro and Vascular Interventional Radiologist and the founder of The Vein Center, with established clinics in Khar West and Andheri East, Mumbai. He holds an MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (2005) and an MD in Radio Diagnosis from Bharati Vidyapeeth University (2011), followed by a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Neuro and Vascular Interventional Radiology from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. His professional expertise is further enhanced by an Advanced Management Programme in Healthcare from the Indian School of Business and active memberships in elite organizations such as the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe and the Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

A pioneer in his field, Dr. Joshi has received international acclaim, including the "Best Presentation" award at the College of Phlebology International Veins Meeting in London for his research on recurrent varicose veins in South Asians. He was also honoured with the Venartis Innovation Award in Zurich for developing the "Plug and Foam" technique, a specialized procedure for treating complex, tortuous varicosities that are otherwise difficult to manage. Additionally, he was recognized as the ISVIR nominated Fellow for the Global Embolization Therapy Summit in New York, reflecting his standing as a global leader in minimally invasive vascular care.
