Biography

I am a Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal and Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgeon.

I have completed my Superspeciality training in Surgical Gastroenterology from Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. I have also done my Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery under the aegis of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India.

I have worked in G. B. Pant Hospital, New Delhi, and Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, during which I trained with stalwarts of Gastrointestinal Surgery in India, including Dr. Anil Agarwal, Dr. P. Jagannath, and Dr. Hitesh Mehta.

I have more than 10 years of extensive experience in the practice of Gastrointestinal Surgery.

My area of expertise is Laparoscopic as well as Open Pancreatic and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, including that for esophageal, gastric, Pancreatic and gall bladder cancer. I also perform Laparoscopic and Open surgeries for Colorectal Cancer, Cytoreduction Surgeries with HIPEC, and Chemoport insertion. I have also been part of Liver Transplant program, closely involved in patient management.

I have delivered talks in International as well as National surgical forums, and published more than 20 research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
