Biography

Dr. Omkar Khandkar is one of the most sought after hematologist oncologists of India and is consulted by both Indian and international patients for his successful treatment procedures. He runs Paediatric leukaemia/lymphoma services which offer more than 80% cure rates. In addition to this, he has interests in treating various other cancers such as Wilms tumour, neuroblastoma, various types of sarcomas, bone tumours, Liver tumours, germ cell tumours etc. He specialises in comprehensive care of patients with Thalassemia, sickle cell disease, disorders of bleeding, immune disorders, anaemia, platelet disorders, eosinophil disorders, HLH etc. He frequently is referred as an expert for unexplainable swellings in liver, spleen, issues related to vaccination. He is a teacher to many Medical students in graduation and post graduation and has been an invited faculty to various national and international conferences.
