Dr. Manit Gundavda specializes in treatment for Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors.

He had completed his Musculoskeletal Oncology super-specialty training at the best institutes in the world through his fellowships in India, UK and Canada. During his training, he has performed or participated in a multitude of Bone and Soft Tissue Tumor Procedures. He is able to provide cutting edge navigation guided and patient specific 3D tumor surgery options through his association with biomedical innovation and latest technology in medical care.

His research and clinical path illustrates his passion to deliver the best care to his patients in Orthopaedic Oncology.

Dr. Manit Gundavda completed his Orthopaedic Surgery post-graduation from Mumbai, India. He was associated with P.D. Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Surgical – Orthopaedic Oncology for nearly 5 years. He has completed his Clinical Fellowships in Musculoskeletal (Bone and Soft Tissue) Oncology from Toronto – Canada and Mumbai – India along with a Visiting Clinical and UICC Technical Fellowship from Birmingham -UK. His clinical research and biomedical development interest resulted in his association with NFTDC, Hyderabad and IIT Powai, Mumbai for coordinating clinical trials and technology incubation mentorship.

Dr. Manit Gundavda’s interest as a Surgeon-Scientist stems from his passion to combine research with clinical skills to advance patient care. This began during his training at P. D. Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre where he gained the skill set and interest in the super-specialty of Musculoskeletal (Bone and Soft Tissue) Oncology. He has a robust clinical experience in Orthopaedic Oncology with more than 6 years of cumulative training along with his fellowships at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham – UK and Mount Sinai Hospital and University (of Toronto) Health Network, Toronto – Canada.

His clinical experience has had a direct impact on his research and resulted in practice-changing outcomes in the field. His various publications, and conference presentations – some of which have won awards, reflect the extent of his clinical and research commitment.
