Biography
Dr. Madhav Dawkore is a Consultant Pulmonologist and Allergist based in Navi Mumbai, with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of respiratory and allergic diseases. He is a patient-focused, compassionate, and evidence-based physician known for his systematic approach to chronic lung conditions and allergy care.
He completed his MBBS from LTMMC,Sion,Mumbai followed by MD in Pulmonary Medicine from IGGMC,Nagpur and has further enhanced his expertise with a Diploma in Allergy and Asthma from CMC Vellore in collaboration with Colorado, USA. He has also pursued an advanced course in Allergy and Immunotherapy from Bangalore, strengthening his proficiency in modern allergy diagnostics and treatment.
Dr. Dawkore has served as an Assistant Professor at JJ Hospital, Mumbai, a premier center for tuberculosis care, where he has treated more than 5,000 tuberculosis patients. He has vast experience in managing complex respiratory illnesses including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases (ILD), fibrotic lung diseases, sleep apnea, and occupational lung disorders.
He is skilled in multiple diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, pleural tapping, intercostal drain (ICD) insertion, skin prick allergy testing, and allergen immunotherapy. His practice emphasizes long-term disease control, patient education, and lifestyle-based management alongside medical treatment.
