Biography
Dr. Avinash D Talele, MDDM is a Senior Medical Oncologist and Hematologist in Navi Mumbai and Thane. He is recognised as one of the best cancer experts in the country. Dr Avinash started his oncology carrier at prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has been trained to manage difficult cancers including lymphomas, myelomas, and rare uncommon malignancies with state of art protocols. He further went on to complete his DM in Medical Oncology from GCRI, Gujrat Cancer and Research Institute, Ahmedabad. One of the largest tertiary cancer hospital in Asia. He has received Dr TB Patel Gold Medal, Young Scientist award for the year 2014, awarded by Gujrat Cancer Society for his plenary work in minimizing transfusion requirement in Bone marrow transplant patients and in metronomic therapy in breast cancers.
Dr. Avinash, then did his MD in General Medicine from SSMC Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, wherein he was awarded Shyam Shah Gold Medal for excellence in medicine. He has done is MBBS from RGMC, Thane, Mumbai. Dr Avinash has a special interest in training the young medical students and is popular for his Sunday medicine clinics amongst the student community.
His special interest includes solid malignancies like Breast, Lung, Colon, Prostate, GI Cancers, Lymphomas and Myeloma, Pediatric and Adult Acute Leukemia. He has also been a part of various successful bone marrow transplantations. He has also been trained in treatment of various benign blood disorders like aplastic anemia, hemolyticanemia iron deficiency anemia etc.
