Tired all the time? It’s not always ‘just stress’.

KDAH

Feeling constantly drained, even after a full night’s sleep? While stress is a common culprit, persistent fatigue could point to underlying health issues such as: * Thyroid disorders – An underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) slows down your body’s processes, leaving you sluggish. * Iron deficiency (anemia) – When your body doesn’t have enough iron, it struggles to carry oxygen, making you feel weak and tired. * Sleep apnea – Interrupted sleep due to breathing issues can leave you feeling exhausted during the day, even if you think you slept well. * Diabetes or other metabolic issues – Fatigue is often an early sign. * Depression or mental health concerns – Tiredness can also be emotional in origin. If tiredness lasts more than a few weeks, get checked.
