Ill-effects of a sedentary lifestyle

A sedentary lifestyle can have several negative effects on both physical and mental health. To mitigate the ill effects it's important to incorporate regular physical activity into your daily routine. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise per week, along with strength training exercises. Break up prolonged sitting with short movement breaks, take regular walks, and find opportunities to be active throughout the day.
