Early detection starts with you

KDAH

Women of all ages should be aware of the symptoms and stay vigilant about any changes in their bodies, such as lumps, pain, nipple changes, or skin changes on the breast. Regular self-breast exams help you become familiar with the normal look and feel of your breasts, making it easier to notice any unusual changes. Mammograms and clinical screenings are essential tools for women over the age of 40 (or earlier for those with a family history). These screenings can detect signs of breast cancer before any physical symptoms appear. The earlier cancer is found, the more options there are for effective treatment. Make early screening a part of our routine. Talk to your healthcare provider about when and how often you should get screened based on your age, family history, and risk factors. #WorldCancerDay #CancerAwareness #BreastCancerAwareness #EarlyDetection #Mammogram #HealthScreening #WomensHealth #PreventiveCare #CancerPrevention #BreastHealth
