Choose your fats wisely


If you are concerned about your heart health, you must substitute healthy fats for bad ones. Trans fat-rich foods increase your LDL (the "bad" cholesterol) level while lowering HDL (the "good" cholesterol). Limit the saturated fats in your diet to no more than 10% of total calories and include healthy fats from monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat. #WorldHeartDay
